Hi Athanasios,

This message may be thrown while preparing the VM for opening during backup - there is "PrepareForAccess" method from VMware VixDiskLib called which temporarily "locks" the VM preventing it's vMotion in vSphere during backup. This method may fail if there are insufficient privileges for vSphere account used by Agent for VMware (which you defined when connecting agent to vSphere) or when there are issues with CBT on particular VM (solution in the 2nd case is to reset CBT for this VM: see solution section of https://kb.acronis.com/content/45682).

In total it's not a dangerous warning which indicates data corruption, but rather some potential misconfiguration issue which can be investigated with help from our support team - the full log will have to be checked to determine the exact context of the error appearance + vSphere setup should be checked as well to validate the vSphere account used.

Thank you.
