Create monthly replication to external HD (Best practice)

Thread needs solution

Hello all

I have a problem with creating a monthly replication to harddisks.
We have a NAS as the main backupstore. All the backups are stored on the NAS.
Now I have to create a replication to the harddisk every month.

I would like to have one "file" per backup. best would be if all the backups (full/differential/incremental) are merged to one backupfile. So I will only have one backupfile per backup on the harddsik.

Do someone know how to configure this or has done a similar configuration?
I tried a few things already, but nothing works.

Thank you in advance!

Hello HEAD IT support,

welcome to Acronis forums!

There will be created one .tibx file per a backup chain: a full or differential backup, and all incremental backups that depend on it (if Version 12 backup format is selected in backup options). Thus, a new backup file is created when a new full backup is created, other backups (incrementals/differentials) will be later appended (when created according to your schedule) to a full one.
