Export data from TapeLoation Supplementary Files
We use Acronis 12.5 Advanced Server to archive our companies projects to LTO tape for permanent storage. Using the UI we can explore the backups during a restore by going to by going to Backups -> Locations -> Archive (our tape pool) where we see a list of our backup plans, if we double click one there is an option to "Recover Files/Folders" where we can actually explore the directory structure that was backed up. So this all works as expected.
What we'd like to do is export the data shown when you browse the backed up filesystem from the Recover Files/Folders. This data seems to be stored in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\TapeLocation and is what Acronis refers to as supplementary files, Is it possible to view / read / export this data? Does anyone know what format it is in? The file extension is TIB, which is the same extension as TrueImage. The idea is that we’d like to get this data so we can put it another database to allow our users to search for files they need restored from our archived projects.
If anyone has any ideas how to do this I would appreciate hearing them.

Maria,
I understand how these files are created and what they are used for, and I know my use case is not a normal one. Was just hoping there was someway for us to make use of this data outside of Acronis itself. As I mentioned we're just looking for a way to get a list from Acronis of what was backed up so that we can use this list outside of Acronis itself.
Thanks.

Hello John.
Unfortunately, there is no way to exclude this information from supplementary files.
However, you may try using the command-line utility syntax in combination with dir /s in Pre/post commands to get a list of the files.
Please describe your use case in more details (what is the purpose of extracting the data structure/list of backed up files) so that I could post a feature request for our Product management team.
