Frozen Activity

Thread needs solution

Hello,

 

I cannot cancel activity by https://kb.acronis.com/content/60653 process while Acronis task is frozen. It is removed from activities, but there is still frozen entry in computers on the server. Restart of services is not possible and ended with an error message. It is only one solution – restart of the server, but it is not a good option. Can you help me, please?

Hi,

The symptoms you describe indicate problems on the agent side, especially the fact that Acronis services cannot be normally restarted, so the KB you refer to is unlikely to help (it helps only when there are fake activities records left). The problem should be investigated with our support team involved. Remember to collect the system report from the agent side (see https://kb.acronis.com/content/58301) at the time when the issue is reproduced (before restarting it) - it will be crucial info for proper analysis.
