How high may the system load be ?

Thread needs solution

How high may the system load be so that the backup process is not disturbed?

I have several Machines they never has a "low working time" (at night or weekend).

This PC´s are responsible for production lines and need to run 24/7.

--------------------------------------------------

Another Question: How big are the "temporary files" be, that Acronis backup generate on the client machine?

This file is almost the same size as the backup file on the target drive?

--------------------------------------------------

Has somebody some answers for me ?

Hello Dietmar,

Thank you for your posting! The minimum system requirements for Acronis Backup 12.5 to operate normally are outlined in System requirements. In addition to that, I'd recommend to consider the necessity of the following resource-consuming features: data deduplication (see Deduplication best practices), setting backup priority to High (see Performance), using Active Protection service (read about this feature).

Here you'll find information on how Acronis Backup stores temporary snapshots. The size of a snapshot is usually 10-20% of the volume depending on the selected method.

Thank you,
