incorrect status and next backup schedule time in devices list

Thread needs solution

Hi, I've notice the following few times:

Occasionally, when we looked at the devices list, we saw some device's status showing "Not protected" and the next backup showing "Not scheduled". However, we've confirmed that the device is in scheduled backup plan and had been backed up successfully by the scheduled plan. (see attached)

Hi Aldous,

The protection status of a VM is defined on the agent level, e.g. the agent (which this VM is bind to) reports the status to the management server. The inconsistency you see may be temporary if the VM was re-bind from some other agent and will persist until next backup plan execution. Still it makes sense to investigate this issue with our support team involved.
