Thread needs solution

Dear Master,

I would like to ask, why i can't do recover my backup to virtual machine..

I created virtual machine white vmware, that machine was detected on Acronis mapping. But when i want to recover my backup to that vmware it always appear error

TOL: Failed to execute the command. Recovery::VM::Assistant::Commands::SetVmRestoreDestination

Cannot recover the virtual machine to the target host because this host is managed by another agent. Only virtual machines whose backups are located in the cloud storage or on a network share can be recovered to a host managed by another agent.

Error code 0x01350016+0x01350016+0x021F001F+0x021F001E

Hi Doddy,

The message indicates that you're browsing the backups (recovery points) from the agent which doesn't have access to the target ESXi host. In order to ensure that the proper agent is selected you should go to "Backups" section of web console UI, then select the backup location and then perform the recovery (instead of checking the recovery points from "Recovery" tab from "Devices" section while selecting the VM). Note that if the backup location is local folder on one of the agents (for example Locally Attached Storage) then you won't be able to recover to another ESXi host. The backup must be located on a network share - you can share the location and after that add it as new one from "Backups" section. If you need assistance with this process please contact our support team.

Thank you.
