Universal Restore Disk

Thread needs solution

When I create a Universal Restore Disk from the download, it indicates that I have an i686 processor and need a different kernel.  Is there another option?

Hello RG,

If you get a message similar to "This Kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: pae", this means your processor doesn't support Physical Address Extension (PAE) feature that enables x86 processors to access more than 4 GB of physical memory. This is necessary to be able to boot with Acronis bootable media. You'll need to open a support ticket and request a custom media that doesn't require PAE.
