As I understand, backup job fails with the error message that you have posted.

We have a public article for Acronis Backup 12.5 with the similar issue. Acronis Backup Cloud shares many code-lines with Acronis Backup 12.5, so the solution is applicable -> Acronis Backup 12.5: backup fails with "Failed to add account in user profile"

Note that the article that I have posted has two possible options. Yours is number 1.

 

Another possible reason - the user that you have specified during installation as the Acronis Managed Machine service user lacks full control access rights to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\AccessVault\

You can check the name of that user in the Services panel.

Win+R -> services.msc -> Acronis Managed Machine service -> log on as ...

To check the allowed users, find the folder in question, right click on it, choose Properties, and among the tabs of the Properties window open Security
