ABR 10 11105 Bluescreen "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

Thread needs solution

Hi,

After installation of new ABR 10 11105 on WINDOWS XP SP3 we got an Bluescreen " IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" with stop error 0X0000000A. The error occurred when we restarted the computer after creation of Secure Zone space on the harddisk. We do not use any Symantec products and the Nero 9 we own doesn't start-up anything at Windows Start..

The computer only starts in 'Safe Mode' ...

T'ill yesterday we used TI 9 Workstation Professional on this computer with no errors at all. Also no new hardware installed..

Does anyone has an solution?

Best regards,

Victor

Hi Victor: This is a know issue. I believe that Acronis has resolved the issue in their newest version (11133). Here is a link to their statement: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/3698

If you do a search fro BSOD you should find several threads from the last month or two.

Your situation is slightly different than in the threads, but I'd bet that updating to the latest version of Acronis will help.

Hello Victor,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

I would recommend you to perform the desired operation under Acronis Bootable Rescue Media (don't forget to update the build to the latest one). The Acronis Secure Zone creation is an one-time operation, it will not take a lot of time.

If you prefer to execute the operation from within Windows and if using the latest (#11133) build doesn't solve the issue, please obtain the below information and attach the dump file to your next post:

- Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties";
- Go to "Advanced" tab;
- Go to "Startup" and "Recover Settings";
- Choose "Small memory dump" in "Write debugging information" box;
- Close all the dialog windows by clicking OK buttons.

Now, please reproduce the BSOD and provide us with the mini-dumps created. This will allow us to investigate the problem thoroughly.

Thank you.
