ABR 10 Advanced Virtual Edition XenServer Setup Suggestion

Thread needs solution

Greetings:

We are in the process of building a XenServer 5.0 cluster and using ABR 10 as our backup and DR solution.  We are looking at 2 different potential network setups, and I'm hoping to get some feedback on what would be the best way to do it, and whether one of our options is even possible.

Option 1:

Have the management of the XenServer hosts and the Acronis Solution on Network 1, and the Virtual Machines that reside on the Xenserver hosts on their own network:

XenCenter\Acronis Server ---- 192.168.1.1--- XenServer Mgmt   ---- Virtual Machine  --- 10.0.0.1

My question is this:  Can the agents installed on the virtual machines communicate with the Acronis Server across disparate networks via the host on which they reside?  Or, do we need to go with

Option 2:

Have everything on the same network?

Thank you in advance for any assistance or suggestions you can lend, and please let me know if you need additional information or if I'm not making sense.

Option 1 can only be done if you have vm routers for example vyatta

Option 2 is the easiest.

Or just wait till the xenserver agent is ready

Or just wait till the xenserver agent is ready

Do we have any sort of ETA for the agent?

And thanks for the reply!
