ABR 10 Can't install Agent because software can't find license server

Thread needs solution

I am a technician hired by a church (PM me for specific information) to install and setup the ABR 10 to backup their server. They purchased ABR 10 SBS and do no care to backup anything except the server that it is currently installed on. So all I need installed is the license server and the Windows Agent. However when I install the license server, enter their serial (it accepts it and shows as 1 license available) on their Windows Server 2008 x64 machine, then attempt to install the Windows Agent it says it cannot find an acceptable license.

I've tried deleting the \ProgramData\Acronis\License Server folder and reinstall but it will not find it. I tried installing the License Server on another machine and the Agent on the server they want backed up, but it still won't find it.

Is the OS installed "Windows Server 2008 x64" or "Windows Server 2008 SBS" ? When installing on a regular 2008, non-SBS server, agent will not take SBS license. (nor will it check for SBS or workstation license to give a hint about wrong SKU)

The exact message I get when starting the ABR 10 setup after pointing to the license server on the same machine is: "There is no license key appropriate for the current operating system on the specified license server."

However the key is 'available' on the license server.

It is not a SBS server. It is Windows 2008 Standard x64.

What do I do now? Can they get a different license to make this work? They have already purchased the license for SBS but can't use it.
