ABR 10: truncating transaction logs with MS Exchange 2010

I'm backing up a MS Exchange 2010 server (W2K8R2 as Hyper-V VM) with ABR 10 (Update 5) and I'm wondering if I could get ABR truncating the Exchange transaction logs - this did not work so far.

Hi Fabian

The ABR product does not interact with Exchange on that level, the best thing to look into would be to enabling circular logging in Exchange.

ABR11 will soon have a plug-in for Exchnage and SQL (separate license) which you might like to look into in the near future.

Hello,
I'm wondering if there are any changes in the current ABR11 build.
VSS seems now working without any error message even Exchange 2010 is installed.

the event source ESE ID 2009 ShadowCopy
"Information Store (2272) Schattenkopieinstanz 4 wird gestartet. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Schattenkopie vom Typ "Kopie".
(could not found the exact English text)

Type "Copy"
suggests that there are other types possible

In Windows Server Backup there is an option VSS full backup

If I understand it correctly with this option the exchange database logs should truncating.
Is there any way to control this MS VSS behaviour out from ABR11?
