ABR 11 - ACRONIS VSS writer still present after uninstall

- I did a :
abr_cleanup.exe --clean

- Verified :
that there are no snapman*, tdrpman*, timounter strings in the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} -> UpperFilters and LowerFilters
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} -> UpperFilters and LowerFilters

- Rebooted

After a "vssadmin list providers", I still get a line with "Acronis VSS SW Provider"

- ABR 11 was uninstalled using add remove programs
- ACRONIS VSS writer was still present after the uninstallation
- Dos was used to do a:
abr_cleanup.exe --clean
- Registry values were checked (as explained above)
- After a machine reboot ACRONIS VSS writer was still present

What I had to do:
- Install ABR 11 again
- Did not perform the uninstallation using add remove programs
- Did the uninstallation directly using dos and:
abr_cleanup.exe --clean
- Registry values were checked
- After a machine reboot ACRONIS VSS writer was not present anymore

Thanks for the update and passing on the details steps you did, I will pass your details onto an Acronis contact to look into to see if they could possibly improve a future version of the clean up utility / product uninstaller.
