ABR Incremental count limit
On ABR10_13762 for Linux I keep hitting what appears to be an incremental count limit at around 1000.
The last one created was LINUX01-b1-001008.tib
Then it just fails.
Failed to perform the backup operation.
Failed to create volume snapshot.
These are run from a cron job using trueimagecmd --create --incremental etc.
Remove all the incrementals from the target file system folder and it runs again, creating a new full and carries on ok.
Warning: full backup creation is started instead of incremental
Operation has succeeded.
This has happened on every linux (I don't use Windows version) server that has managed to reach over the 1000 incrementals - most die before then.
has anyone ever exceeded 1010 incrementals ?
Mark.

I first reported this as an issue in Sept 2010 and after waiting a few months was told it wasn't a problem that could be reproduced.

So does that mean there will be another update of ABR10 ?
I haven't upgraded to ABR11 for Linux yet, as our initial testing had too many issues.
