ABR v11 SBS - Setting up an FTP server and taking a seed

Hello all,
I recently setup an FTP server on our network and set the necessary routing to allow external clients to connect. As a test i install ABRv11 SBS on a clients server and took a full backup onto external HDD and then brought it back to the office and uploaded it to our FTP server.

I then went back to teh clients server and told it to send all incrementals to our FTP server, it appeared to log in ok and see the full backup seed that i had taken.

The problem is it doesnt seem to be working, it appeared to try and download the full backup rather than uploading the incremental. Im sure im just doing this wrong as ive never set this type of backup up before. i cant seem to find any help on the issue, so here i am at the mercy of the forum. Please help!
