HI,
first of all, please be patient with my english... :-)

i have to backup an suse 9.0 without Gui from an Windows XP Maschine.
The XP machine is the managment an license Server and also has the console.

What i try to do is to install an backup agent remotly an the target suse machine.
So first, is this possilbe?
I try -- extras -- install acronis components... add iva IP and root user an password, but can get no connect. The user name and password are correct. i can logon via ssh an this machine.

So is this the right procedure - or have ein do something different?

Remote install on Linux machine is not possible. However it's possible to install it locally as linux installer is a console application and doesn't require xwindows.
