ABR10 How to modify existing backup schedules??
I already have a backup job created and now I need to modify the task schedule. Using ABR Management Console where do you go to modify the backup schedule??

Been there but I can't find any thing related to Scheduling.
Please see the attached document.

Without information about location (see 'provide the access credentials' link) scheduling settings are inaccessible.
PS- screenshots are much more convenient to be pasted to and then saved in Microsoft Paint, preferrably in .png format.

That was it!
I had to enter crenditial to see the Archive Location and magically another section appears that has nothing to do with the Archive location.
Very intuitive.
Thank you very much for your help dev-anon!

Hi Backups-R-Pain
That is correct the credentials are required, the reason some other menus are missing is depending what backup location is used changes the options available (For example if backing upto a managed vault, unmanaged vault, secure zone, network share..etc..etc).
Once you enter those credentials ABR can load the relevant options that are allowed for the selected destination.
Hope that helps to explain the reasoning behind it a little better.
All the best and glad you managed to get things up and running again.

Data,
Thank you for your input. However I have to disagree with you.
A backup plan/task that is already defined knows where to store the backup archives and knows what options are used. Remember this is a defined job and program knows exactly what to backup, where to backup, and how to backup. Therefore when the user tries to EDIT the backup plan the software should ask for credentials before it opens the backup plan for modification regardless the options used.
If you ask me this is simply a screwed up software interface design.

Hi Backups
I agree the software should not ask for credentials, I was just trying to help you understand what was happening in the back end. I too would prefer the option of if you are logged in as an admin of that job you should be able to edit it without having to re-enter credentials.
One option you could look into in ABR11 is on the management console that ‘might’ help (have not done allot of testing with it yet though). Try the following to see if it helps:
Options --> Console Options --> Credentials cache --> “Keep saved credentials between console sessions”
Again not sure if this works with the vault credentials but might be a good option to enable and look into :-)
