ABR11 upgrade from ABR10. Failed to add Universal Restore license key.

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Following KB222222 directions explicitly to combine the ABR10 Universal Restore license key with the ABR11 Universal Restore Upgrade key in License Manager add dialogs. Also running most current June 23 version of ABR11. Still getting the error below. I have done numerous removes, cleans, and restores of ABR10 & ABR11; all to no avail.

Just bought the ABR 11 UR upgrade license today. License number format must be okay as it registered just fine on the Acronis web site. ABR10 UR license key is a couple years old, bought when ABR10 first came out. Other ABR11 Workstation upgrade license keys did successfully add to License Manager.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!!

Same here new build - will not accept license key. Says it available but refuses to load/accept.

Thank you for your comments. I would like to help you with the issue.

David, I have checked your account, and can see the root of the problem: 

You have ABR 10 Advanced Workstation AUR, and you've purchased the upgrade to ABR 11 Standart Workstation AUR. These are two different versions, and that's why the upgrade key doesn't get accepted.

The solution for such case is the following: refund the incorrect upgrade key and purchase the right one. I'm going to create a case for you, and proceed with the refund process. Once you receive your money back you can purchase the ABR 11 Advanced Workstation Universal Restore.

Jonathan, I will be glad to help you with the inconvenience, but unfortunately I cannot find any keys registered to your account. Could you please specify them to me via PM alongside with the screenshot of the License Server where you upload the licenses?
