ABR11 Virtual Edition guest agent installation issues

Thread needs solution

I have a 2 node Hyper-V cluster that I've licensed 2 Virtual Edition installs for. Everything is working great so far, all the VMs are getting backed up, except for one machine which has a pass-through disk attached to it. Now according to the documentation since I have Virtual Edition licensed for the hosts I should be able to install the Agent for Windows in a guest. All of my attempts are showing that there are no licenses available for the agent. I cannot find anything in the documentation that specifies installations are to occur differently than normal and doing a push install or manual install either way is still giving me a licensing error. Is the documentation wrong and I actually need a separate Advanced Server license for this VM?

Here's the details of the message:

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi mytek,
the documentation is correct. The product behavior will be fixed in the nearest product update. As a workaround, you can revoke the license before installing the agent. This is not likely to affect your current backup plans because Agent for Hyper-V will acquire the license again at next backup.

mytek, this was indeed a problem in build 17318.
Did you experience the issue with the latest build 17437 too?
