Did your backup fail and you suspect ManagementConsole? It's GUI frontend and even if it crashed, it should not affect normal backup operation. Also there is nothing in recent MMS logs that may indicate failure. Does console crash when you do something specific in the console or does it fail to start at all?

I attached the *.jpg that shows what I see when I start a backup. The backup fails per the event log. So how do I fix this?

thanks

Windows event log that is attached contains no information about failed backups - crashed console doesn't equal failed backup.
BackupAndRecovery\MMS\LogEvents\00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 contains only succesful entries too.
You may try to repair install the console, or ( given that you once had version 12708 crashed and then back 11345) remove the whole installation, install the latest build and when the crash is reproduced, collect user dump. (http://kb.acronis.com/content/2192)

On all previous install, I used abr_cleanup to cleanup the files. Also you are missing Message from Event log:

1. Faulting application ManagementConsole.exe, version 10.0.0.11345, faulting module fox.dll, version 10.0.0.11345, fault address 0x00023312.
2. The screenshot that I attached.

Also I would also look at case 01049305 for the previous case involving fox.dll at this time I was unable to install build 12708 so I had to use build 11345.

What causes ABR to cause a fault in fox.dll?

thanks

I'm not missing it, but crasing console is a different thing, it's not a "failed backup". I don't know what may cause it (except from a wrong version of C++ runtime) but 1) no one will investigte it without userdump 2) no one will investigate it on a build that old ( i.e. not 13545 or 13544)
