acrocmd error 0x1510008 and 0x950018
Hello,
I have a error 0x1510008 and 0x950018 with the acrocmd tool when I recover a image which was created on one computer and I try to recover it on an computer with a different SSD drive. The source computer has a "TEAM XG1 SSD" and the target computer a "KINGSTON SVP200S360G" drive. Recovery on the same drive type is possible without a error.
The image is being stored on a USB-Drive f: with the following command:
acrocmd backup disk --loc=f:\oasimage --arc=testimg.tib --disk=1 --plain_archive --backuptype=full
To recover the image on a second computer the following command is used:
acrocmd recover disk --loc=f:\oasimage --arc=testimg.tib --disk=1 --target_disk=1
Which results with the following error:
An error occurred while executing the command.
Error Code: 0x1510008
$module = "acrocmd_bartpe_vs"
Tag: 0x7A8E520180FDC06B
Copy of disks failed
Error Code: 0x950018
$module = "disk_bundle_bartpe_vs"
Tag: 0xC527D80F36A73A86
The command to recover the mbr is successful:
acrocmd recover mbr --loc=f:\oasimage --arc=oas_os_image_latest.tib --disk=1 --target_disk=1
We are using a Windows PE from Win 7 with SP1: Version 6.1.7601.17514 and the Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Build: 11.0.17440
Does someone have a hint for a solution or what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Axel

Hello,
thanks for your quick response.
Our whole deployment process with other roll-out scripts is Windows PE based. It would be hard to change the process.
When running the recovery via management console there is also no error! The image could be restored on both disk types.
The --log don't show much more details, but I have attached the log.txt and system report to this post.
Thanks,
Axel

Hello Axel Meyer,
Thank you for your reply.
Please be informed, that for standard deployment, Acronis is offering Acronis Snap Deploy 4 which also have the better pricing for this. For deploying machines, you need a separate license for each machine. See Licensing Policy.
In the sysinfo I could find this reported errors:
- Error 0x40007: Failed to open the file.
- The system cannot find the path specified
Please check if your backup storage is accessible, also that your SSD drivers are loaded with the WinPE environment. If not already used, try the Windows AIK 3. Find more information about in this article from our knowlegde base.
If you need additional assistance, please contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.
If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.
Thank you.
