Acronics-B&R11-workstation Q:volume-copy
Just bought this software just to copy my WIN7-enterprise bit32
from a 80GB-diks to a 500GB disk easely without having to reinstall all my programs' etc tec.
Should be easy but can't figure out what I all have to intall re-install , WINPE files download etc.
Thought the program would be easy of use.
Just want a straid copy to a new disk.
Downloaded just the file
KB3AIK_NL.iso and waik_supplement_nl-nl.iso
Also have the original WIN7 install disks by hand.
Thanks for the help

1 500GB E-drive (with old data)

I never dealt with Acronis sw on physical media but if you can boot your computer from this CD and get to some kind of reduced-functionality B&R application, then it is - a customized live linux that runs a linux-based B&R. If it doesn't boot, you have to go to your acronis account register your SN there, and download .iso file and (as it's a windows 7) doubleclick on it and it will offer to burn it on CD. Only if this doesn't work due to HW compatibility problems, it's worth trying WinPE-based one.

Using B&R installed in windows? Then double-check that you have you data copied to 1TB disk and restore the backup from 1TB disk to 500 GB disk.
Before this, delete existing partition from 500 gb disk to make it unallocated. Select the backup you created, select 'recover as' dropdown to volumes, check MBR and all volumes checkboxes , then assign each partition from archive to recover on unallocated space of 500gb disk, changing its 'properties' from 'original size' which they will have by default to the desired size.
