Acronis 11 Backup Failure on SBS2011

We're having issues getting a backup to complete without failing.

The server is SBS 2011. We've ran the PSconfig and uninstalled Sharepoint, but the backups are still failing. I've also modified the VSS per this page -http://kb.acronis.com/content/22373 - with no luck.

Here is the error log from the failure:

Hi Jeff, Some tips for troubleshooting in order to find the cause of the error:

  • Run vssadmin list writers in order to find whether or not there are failed writers on your server
  • Try vssadmin create shadow to see whether or not a snapshot without involving writers is successful or not
  • Read system and application logs on the server. Oftentimes VSS subsystem writes rather interesting things there
  • If it is not critical for your server, try to reboot it. Otherwise just try to restart COM+ Event System service
