Acronis 11 home - hangup on restore

Hi there,

I want to restore a system partition (which is corrupt, but works) under XP 64 via "Backup and Recovery".
- Acronis initiates the process and writes the Bootup-Script
- Acronis restarts the computer
- The Acronis Bootloader starts and hangs up.

I would be very glad if you could help me...!

Thank you for specifying the details and for reporting about the problem.

Unfortunately due to the lack of information it is difficult to identify the reason of the issue, but I beleive we have a workaround for it: let us recover from the new Acronis Bootable Rescue Media.

According to your account I can see that you have faced this issue with Acronis True Image 11 Home, so in order to resolve the issue  I have sent you the link and the instructions via PM, feel free to use it!

Should you use Acronis Backup and Recovery product - let me know, I will help you to obtain the Acronis Bootable Rescue Media for it.

  • Could you please provide us with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the problem you report, so that we can reproduce it?
  • Please kindly gather Acronis Linux Report
