Acronis Backup and Recover 10 update 3 and relay email alerts

Thread needs solution

I have recently had issues trying with notifications on backup jobs when they complete.

Our environment uses Exchange 2010 and the IP of the Management server is entered into the relay.

I have noticed some of the notification work and most do not. This is because the servers that are working have IP's entered into the relay for other applications. Does Acronis send notification emails from each client? If so why doesn't it send from the central management server when all of the logs are housed in the local database?

This forces me to add all servers into the allow relay list and our security policy does not allow that.
