Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 - Hangs on Running 0%

Thread needs solution

Hi Guys,

First time posting here so I hope I am in the right place. My apologies otherwise.

I am running Acronis Backup and Recovery 10. We have 2 different backup tasks.
One runs Monday - Thursday and the second runs on a Friday.

The Friday one is where we have the issue. It hangs on "Running 0%" only way to stop it is to restart the Acronis Managed Machine Service (which won't restart and end up having to use cmd taskkil and then restart) but even after this the next days backups wont run until server is restarted.

The Logs from the Friday backup show nothing...

Each Friday there are 3 entries into the "Log".

First at 7:00:02 pm "Task 'Full backup' was started."
Next at 7:00:02 pm "Task 'Full backup' changed its state from 'idle' to 'running'"
Next at 7:00:04 pm "Priority changed to Low."

The only error ever to show in logs for Friday was a few weeks ago when first set up.

I am not sure what "User name or bad password" it could be talking about.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

Most likely it's 'plan's credentials' that is possible to view and change if you click on 'advanced view' in plan editing page. Though incorrect credentials there do not cause Managed Machine service to hang.
