Acronis backup to DFS - can't login to DFS
Hi,
I'm evaluating Acronis Backup Server (11345) and have a small question. I'm try to setup backup destination (vault) to DFS folder, but I can't connect to it. When I try to open it as \\DomainName\DFS - Acronis asks about username and password. I enter username/pass in various formats (only username, domain\username, username@domain) - but Acronis don't accept them, asks about them again and so can't login to DFS. If I try to connect to DFS as \\ServerName\DFS - problem are same.
Meanwhile, on the same computer if I open Explorer and enter path "\\DomainName\DFS" or "\\ServerName\DFS" - I see all DFS folders successfully and without any username/pass prompts. Logged in user and user credentials in Acronis backup job are same.
Any other network path in Acronis are open successfully (after entering same username/pass).
What I do wrong and how I can setup Acronis backup destination (vault) to some of DFS folders?
ps: sorry for poor English.

Yana,
Sorry for delay with answer. I try steps 1-4 but they don't help solve issue.
I collect data with Acronis info and Wireshark, but I can't create support request - when I select "I use trial version" and select "Backup&Recover 10 for Windows Server" - I receive error message "We don’t have a valid registration of your trial product". When I go to My products page on My Account - I see "Acronis Backup&Recovery Server for Windows Trial (Russian) 1 license(s)". I suppose problem is in "Russian" words in product name? But when I try to download trial from English website, no new keys generated and no new products (without "Russian") added to my account.
Wow! I submit key for Russian version in "register product" section - and now I can submit ticket :)
But I can't find case number. Where I can find it? (I receive only message "case created" and no any case numbers)

Hi,
I have the same issue. I have installed an evaluation version of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 on a Windows 2008 R2 server.
I cannot access our backup location via DFS. Accessing the DFS destination using it's UNC path works with the same user ID and password.
It would be nice to post your case progress here.
Thank you
Thorsten

And I have the same. I know than in ATIES ECHO backup on DFS destination working good. But in Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 it can't explore DFS folder. Does this problem have some solution?

It's a shame that Acronis doesn't do anything to solve this issue. We're using ABR10 and are not able to use DFS destination. I'm considering moving to another vendor.
