Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 and BSOD Issue

Hello all,

We were able to get a workaround for common BSOD issue after the installation of the latest (11105) build of Acronis Backup & Recovery.

If you faced the same BSOD as we can see here, you can do the following to fix this issue:

  •  Boot into Safe Mode and remove contents of SnapAPI drivers according to this article
  •  Boot in Normal Mode and install the latest build of our program. You can download all the necessary files from update section in your account
  • Do not reboot  your PC after the Installation
  • Install the new version of SnapAPI 468
  • Reboot your PC
