Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 SBS Edition recognize Perc 5i?

Thread needs solution

Quick question:
I have a dell poweredge 1900 with a Perc 5i raid controller (Part# GP298). Will Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 SBS Edition support my raid controller and see my hard drives to restore the image when I boot to restore media?
I would install acronis, update to latest build, create image of server, and create bootable media. When booting to media, would acronis need drivers or would it automatically be able to see the disk space created with the raid?

Thanks for any info provided!

Hello Andy,

Thank you for finding time to open a thread regarding this question on Forum.

We do not expect any issues with the hardware you've specified, however I would strongly recommend to test the solution before making a decision.

The trial version is available here. It's valid for 15 days, and full functional except the bootable media has the following limitations:

  1. Acronis Disk Director Light is available, but there's no option to commit the changes
  2. Only the recovery functionality is available
  3. Acronis Universal Restore is not available

See more details here. You might also find our webhelp useful, it contains the information about all product's features.

I am not sure if it needed it, but during creation of bootable media I was able to enter any drivers. I entered my raid controller drivers. When i booted to CD, acronis automatically recognized my raid. Thanks for help and info.
