Acronis products and Virtual Servers

Hello all,

I've used Acronis products as the foundation of my bare-metal recovery strategy and have been quite happy with it on the server that I administer. Now my server is being virtualized and I have to confess my near total ignorance on the subject. I've always had a degree of (proven) comfort in having recovery images of my server such that I could have the server up and running in an hour or so. Does Acronis have a product for virtual servers that performs the same snapshot-backups of physical boxes? Does the virtual server system offer that kind of protection on its own without the need of a 3rd party product? I know that Acronis has a virtual server product, but it seems geared for protecting the physical server that runs the multiple virtual environments. I'm the admin of just one of those environments and am looking to protect it with as little rebuild time as possible in the case of unexpected failure. Any point in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Virtual product acronis makes actually connects to the running vhd and backs up the whole virtual machine (if you have a single host with 20 virtual machines, you just need one virtual license). If you want to back the host machine, that takes a regular acronis backup agent license (not the virtual license)
