Acronis Recovery

Thread needs solution

Hi ,

I wanted to just create an image of a linux machine and use it for a new Dell T610 machine that we got . Being new to acronis , I created a Image of the machine and stored the image on one of the servers on the network .

When i use the Acronis Bootable CD to the new Dell server i am unable to connect to the server . I clicked on tools -> configure network ... Everything is grayed out and listed as Auto Detection . I guess CD is having trouble with drivers for NIC cards ?

Any help would be useful .

Thank You

Hello Shreyas!

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, let me help you with it and guide the case till its complete resolution.

Usually there should be no issues with identifying network, so let us try new bootable media I have just forwarded to you via PM. In case the problem was caused by the lack of drivers, the above suggestion will solve the issue.

Should the problem persist, we will need to take a closer look at the issue, so could you please kindly gather for us:

  1. The screenshot of the issue and the network settings
  2. Acronis Linux Report from the Bootable Rescue Media CD

Please contact us with the information collected, I'm positive we will get it fixed in the shortest timeframes.

Thank you in advance for cooperation!
