Hi Maurice Gonlag,

if you are interested in network booting into Acronis via WDS, try this link and the related topics below it.

Hello Elenal,
i can not find the uption to use a pxe-server (WDS/RIS) during bootable media builder.
Which version do i need for this? Is there a full manual available?

Hello Maurice,
If you do not see the WDS/RIS option in the media builder, most likely you have an edtion for stand-alone servers of workstations (the one without remote connection and the management server). You need the Advanced Server or Advanced Workstation edition.

Maurice, if you are using Windows Server 2008 you will unfortunately not be able to use WDS with Acronis - see http://kb.acronis.com/content/1753

But you may use the Acronis PXE Server instead:

Hi, I can not find the solution to have acronis true image on WDS, I have to upload a file URboot.vim to be able but I have not found ways to convert Acronis URbootable.iso to vim and I have not found files of that type within the folder Acronis True image..

Help!

Thanks in advance

Hi,

It should be possible to select the format during the media creation

Here you can read more on how to create a WinPE based bootable media in Acronis True Image 2017.
