Add a machine to AMS problem. No name machines.

Thread needs solution

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console (build 10.0.12457)

When I try to add a machine to AMS after successful installation on remote machine it will connected, but the Name field in the "all physical machines" list would empty for current machine. IP address field is OK.
This is true for all machines I tryied(more than 10 computers).
Let's go below.
Then I close AMS and open again. There's already no noname machine that was added to the list.
If I try to connect this machine again it will say that this machine already registered.
Some times ago we met the problem with Adding to AMS(false registered) for some machines and had been fixed with delete_machine_by_id.vbs script.

I've attached the reg file with exported HKLM\SOFTWARE\Acronis key for experts who may analyse this.

Are there anybody to advise how to fix?

Regards,
Roman.

I've found the reason of the problem.
There's the registery key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Acronis\AMS\Configuration\Centralized\Synchronization\MaxConnections
that was set to 200 though we have connected 109 machines.
I've put the value 300 and the problem fixed unjustifiedly.

Other questions if here's somebody know:
Where's the Acronis list of added machines that should be arranged and how should be arranged?
Can I simply remove the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Acronis\AMS\Configuration\Centralized\Synchronization\?

Hello Roman,

Thank you for reporting about the issue. I understand your concern, and would like to help you.

Actually the issue you've faced might be related to the corrupted xml files of the instances (here's KB related to this issue) or corrupted WMI (solution is described here).

I'm sure we will be able to give you more details regarding the issue solution if we receive System Reports from a couple of problem machines. Can you send it to us?

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you.

Thank you.
