Is Advanced Server Virtual Edition right for us ?

Hi,

I work as an IT in a software development company. We are at the moment, restructuring all our internal network and servers. We had all physical servers with Hyper-V, and we are going to VMware all the way. Most of our servers will be running on vSphere 4 and ESXi 4.1.

While moving forward, we are planning on changing our backup solution. We are looking to have an "all-in-one" backup server that does it all. Here is what we are looking for as features :

- Centralized backup solution. (ie: Acronis server is installed on a server and we connect to it using remote tools installed on our workstations.)
- Hot Backup (while the target is running) every or specific virtual machines running on ESXi 4.1 hosts
- Restore a bunch or specific virtual machines on ESXi 4.1 vm formats
- Ability to backup a physical target by deploying an agent on the target from the Acronis server
- Hot Backup a physical target
- Restore a physical or virtual machine backup file to any physical or virtual targets.
- Universal Restore support (can restore pretty much any backup file on different hardware)
- Ability to create scheduled jobs to backup daily/weekly
- Ability to backup on external usb hard drives and using rotation scheme with these USB drives
- Ability to backup specific files on a target
- Incremential backups
- Ability to send emails on sucess/failure
- Integration with Active Directory for security
- Backup any Windows version (including Windows 7 and 2008 R2)
- Backup any Linux distributions and builds

Not required but would be great features :
- Sharepoint backup agent
- Exchange backup agent

I've read this web page few times ( http://www.acronis.com/backup-recovery/advanced-server-virtual/features… ) and it seems to cover all the basics I need, but I'm posting this topic to ask the community what you think.
