I am considering purchasing Advanced Workstation 11. Will it run on a Windows 7 64 bit workstation and backup a networkshare on a NAS to a USB HP DAT 72 tape drive attached to the workstation?

Welcome to our problem, we're glad to greet you here. Thank you for your interest to Acronis Products.

We do not expect any issues with the environment you've specified, however support of USB tapes is introduced only in the upcoming build. We've planned the release to be out in the end of January, but I cannot say for sure when exactly it's going to be released.

I would advise you to test the solution before purchasing it (the trial version is valid for 15 days and almost fully functional, you can check the limitations here), and wait till the Update 0.5 to get released (feel free to subscribe to our newsletter, so that we'll be able to notify you when it's out) to check the USB tape support.
