AdvWrkstn (10.0.11133) - FTP backup can't be Validated, seen?

Thread needs solution

The system being being backed up is Windows XP using a trial key. The FTP server is a Mac mini 10.5 with a ZFS filesystem as the target. After creating the back I go to the centralized Vault, and there is a line for the new backup, but the "used space" is 0. I cannot Validate because there are no backups. When I ftp manually the backup files are in fact there.

Hello James,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

The issue needs a closer investigation. To find the exact reason of the issue please obtain the below information and create an e-mail request on this page, under Contact us click on the Start here button and follow the step-by-step guide.

1) Please attach the log file of the backup operation to your e-mail message.

2) Obtain the sysinfo file on the Win XP system.

- Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information;
- Choose the "Save" option in the "File" menu (or "Action" menu under Windows 2000), enter the "File name" and set the field "Save as type" to "System Information File (*.NFO)";
- Send us the saved file.

3) Please create the screen shot of the program window with the centralized vault view.

If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

4) Could you please provide us with the following information?

1. Run regedit from Start -> Run
2. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\DebugLogs registry key. (If the DebugLogs key does not exist, please create it)
3. Add ftp value (Type: DWORD; Data: 1)
4. Reproduce the problem

In Windows 2000/XP/2003 the ftp.log will be created in Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\DebugLogs folder.

In Windows Vista the ftp.log will be created in \ProgramData\Acronis\DebugLogs

Please let me know the case number via Private massages, I will take care of this request.

Thank you.
