Apllications Open Files and Acronis Backup

HI,
I need to know:

•If I am going to do a back up while the server is running, what will happen to the Open Files that we are running on the servers, e.g., Oracle, what should we do first with Oracle Open Files and other Open Files before taking the backup?

•Is there any impact on these applications when Acronis start taking a backup while they are running?

•Do we need to Stop/Close the Opened Files as well as Dismount/Stop the Databases of applications such as: Oracle, DoubleTake, DBMoto, WebTrends?

•Is there a script that we can use to stop or close the open file while taking the acrnois backup, then start the files after we finish the acronis image?
