Archives not showing up in the vault view

Thread needs solution

Folks, when I create backups, the system says they ran, and I see them on the local hard drive. However, when I look in the centralized vault view, at the archives, I no longer have the latest backups as seen on the hard drive from Windows explorer. We did change the retention time of our backups using the existing GFS scheme. Any ideas what's going on?

On a related note, is it possible to utilize an existing full backup, and re-create the backup scheme? IN other words, if this setup is completely borked, and I want to recreate the backup scheme, can I use one of the full backups I already created, and have incs. and diffs. run off that?

We are using ABR10 Virtual addition. The problem system is Server 2008 R2, and our backup system is running on Windows 7.

Thank you!

As for your second question: you can surely create a new backup plan and specify the existing full as the source archive.
