asz becomes unallocated after recovery

Thread needs solution

Using True Image 2009. I created an asz on my secondary hard disc, but this was not shown when I did the back up. So the back up went on to the main volume.  I had to do a recovery, after which the asz had become "unallocated" and I cannot get access to it.  I have effectively lost 13Gb of space. Also, when booting, having used the bootable CD in Windows Vista Home Premium, the Acronis option on normal boot is now not there and I have to intervene to go the OS boot, which works perfectly.  I am very happy that my main disc was recovered - less so now that my computer is harder to use.  Any ideas?

Hello Tony,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

To find the exact reason of the issue we need additional information. Please download Acronis Report utility available here and run it, create a report and attach to your post.

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Thank you.
