ATI Home 2010.5055 | Bootable Rescue Media Content?

Thread needs solution

Hi everyone

I downloaded and installed ATI Home 2010.5055 and summarily proceeded to create a bootable rescue CD (from the ISO, burned with IMGburn), as well as a bootable USB-flash drive. Neither worked when tested. BIOS boot sequence set up correctly. To be safe, I then also downloaded the bootable media ISO from Acronis and wrote the image to CD. It did not work either. Then I checked and compared the content of the three bootable media, wherein I noticed a huge variation. I now need a standard to compare these three against:

Could someone please post the default list of the files and folders that should reside in the bootable?

Thank you for your time.

 Hello  acronymous,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

Acronis Bootable Rescue Media is based on Linux operating system, that's why viewing the content of the CD by Windows Explorer doesn't make any sense. We will resolve the issue in another way.

We have released a new build of Acronis True Image Home 2010 (#6029). I would recommend you to update the build to the latest one and to recreate Acronis Bootable Rescue Media (you can also re- download the ISO file under your account).

You can learn more on how to download the latest build here. Also please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.

Please see if the issue remains. If the issue persists, could you please provide us with the description of the CD malfunction? Are you able to boot into the program interface? Are the hard drives properly detected?

Please keep us informed, we are looking to hear from you.

Thank you.
