Authentication problem - backup failed / can't see vault content

--Backups fail with the following error:

Failed to open the metadata directory.
Failed to set the logon information for the backup location.
Access to the file is denied.
Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect

--Can't see vault content, error: authentication failed.
