Backing up after disc defragmentation

Thread needs solution

Just checking on this.

I have quite a few things i back up, computer,  pictures, videos, music, (etc) and some are on a schedule

So basically what this is telling me, is after i do a defragmentation, i should perform a full backup on each backup achive i have, weather it be a computer backup or a music backup (etc)

An incremental or differential backup created after a disk is defragmented might be

considerably larger than usual. This is because the defragmentation program changes file

locations on the disk and the backups reflect these changes. Therefore, it is recommended

that you re-create a full backup after disk defragmentation

Hello Crowley,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

This note is related to every backup type you have, it doesn't matter whether you have a partition backup or a files/folders backup.

Thank you.
