Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Server. The backup plan was created and immidietly removed

On a few of my machines I get a strange behaviour when I try to apply a backup policy.

I get an error on the machine and when I check the log there is no logs on error level. Only informational level saying:

2010-04-16 14:12:12 The backup plan was removed.
2010-04-16 14:12:10 The backup plan was created.
2010-04-16 14:02:10 The backup plan was removed.
2010-04-16 14:02:07 The backup plan was created.
2010-04-16 13:52:07 The backup plan was removed.
2010-04-16 13:52:05 The backup plan was created.
2010-04-16 13:42:05 The backup plan was removed.
2010-04-16 13:42:03 The backup plan was created.

and so on.....

The backup will obviously not run since the plan is removed a couple of seconds after it was created. I get no other error messages. Anyone have an idea of how to solve this?

Unfortunately due to the lack of information it is difficult to identify the exact cause of the problem. So could you please kindly make sure you are using the latest build of the product (it should be 11639). You can download it directly from your account.

Should you have the latest build and the issue is still present, please gather the following:

  1. Exact sequence of steps performed before you encountered this issue
  2. Screenshot of the issue
  3. Acronis Info

After that please kindly contact support directly and let me know the case number - I'd like to monitor the process of  handling it.

Hi Yana and thanks for your reply.
The system is delivered to a customer so I don't have access to it unless I travel to them so I can't help you with screenshots and Acronis Info right now. However, that information might be available in the support case with id:00562113.

What I have done before the error occurs is that I have created backup policys and applied those as plans to different groups of computers. All computers are working fine except four machines that get the behaviour mentioned here.

I see now that the old case has been closed and a new case have been opened with case number 00645253.

To get this resolved, I would recommend to update to the latest build, as Yana suggested in her post, and also please make sure that you get the AcronisInfo report from the agent machine as well as the management console machine.
