Backup and Recovery 11 Advanced Edition with Virtual Edition and Windows Event Logging

I am running Backup and Recovery 11 Advanced Edition along with the Virtual Edition to centrally manage both physical and virtual servers.

I have the backup options set such that Errors and Warnings should create Event Log Entries. I have only had the backup system running for a few weeks and recently had 2 backup failures when backing up virtual servers. Unfortunately, though the Management Console showed Error, nothing was logged into the Event Viewer.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Windows event logging only works for windows-based agents, and errors will appear only on event log on the machine with agent, If you use virtual appliances, this won't work; nor will events be transmitted to machine with Management Server.
