backup and Recovery Server HP DL585 G1 ADM64x failure Acronis Boot CD

Thread needs solution

I have a big problem, I created a backup of a HP DL585 server host whose function prodctuvos SAP services. This server (HP DL585 ADM64bits Windows 2003 64x Enterprise) generated by bckup without problms Acronis agent.

But try rescuera (recovery) on another server exactly the same, with the same hardware (CPU RAM HDD, Arrays, etc.) can not start the Acronis recovery process re.

Now the Acronis boot product is not capable of recovering a Windows operating system.

I believe this failure Acronis Boot CD to lift linux and can not recognize her Array5 controller of DL585.

There is someone who can help with such problems .......

Hello Jorge,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

I would recommend you to use ISOLINUX Bootable Media.

There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:

- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;

- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.

ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released. ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting.
You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article. Please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.
Please create a new CD and check its' functionality.

Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.

Using the ISOLINUX Based Acronis B&R Bootable CD, select either Option 3 ([noapic]), or Option 4 ([noapic] without "quiet"). This worked on my HP DL580 G5 which uses the same RAID Controller as your HP DL585G1.

I hope this helps!
