Backup not working anymore, stuck waiting forever (ABR 10 Advanced)
For some reason on 10/18 my copy of Acronis stopped performing backups. I checked the system today and it had been "waiting" for over 2 days, but did not say what it was waiting on. I stopped it, closed the program, opened it, and tried a backup, still waiting. I went into task manager and killed all Acronis related processes, still nothing. I deleted the task all together and made a new one from scratch, and also tried to use a different media disk, all of which failed to work. I can't reboot the machine unless absolutely necessary so that is a last resort.
I checked the log files and something raised a flag: on the 19th, 20th, and 21st there was an error "Scheduled License checking has completed", error 2, module 202, line info 599e50188dc69e77 which could be related to why it is waiting.
Also, the program is creating several small (<50kb) .tib files with weird names for each day, in addition to the backup. The name of the files are similar to Backup_10_07_00_00_568945.tib and they increment, usually about 7 per day. Not sure what Acronis is up to but I need it fixed ASAP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Hello Craig,
Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]
Here are the actions that you can perform without rebooting the system:
* Go to Start -> Run -> services.msc
* Right-click on the following Acronis services, and click on Restart:
- Acronis Managed Machine Service;
- Acronis Remote Agent;
- Acronis Scheduler2 Service.
Also you can try to rejoin the Agent to the License Server and to the Management Server.
Thank you.

I too am getting this "Pure Virtual Function Call" error. It seems to come after a reboot occasionally and another reboot does fix the problem for me.
However when I try and restart the "Acronis Managed Machine Service" it does pop up the same C++ runtime error for ManagementServer.exe in the middle of restarting the service and doesn't actually fix the problem.
I have found that only a reboot will fix the problem.

How would I go about rejoining the Agent to the License Server and to the Management Server? I have to restart those services every day in order to perform a backup and I do not see a way to do this.
Thanks,
Craig
