hi

Im new to these forums, so I hope its ok to ask a few things?

I have B&R installed on a few server backing up to a few external NAS drives nightly, Im looking at the option to install a ESXi server and recover these images or mount these nightly images to the ESX server?

Also is there some option I can use to load these images to VMware Workstation for doing some testing?

I hope these questions make sense?

You have several options depending on B&R edition and ESXi edition; If B&R is Virtual Edition (and, iirc, ESX is any edition except Free, but I might be wrong here) you can schedule a regular conversion of the last backup to virtual machine and uploading of it to a virtualization server ( http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11/index.html#7364.html ) If B&R is not VE, you have only the option of converting the backup to the set of VM files, like VMware workstation, but you will have to do the rest manually.
