Backup settings dissapeared

Thread needs solution

I have a daily backup routine uasing 'Backup and Recovery 10' based on the grandfather, father, son scheme. When I checked tonight, Backup and Recovery had no details about backing up and claimed that it had never run a backup. Based on file dates the last successful backup dates was the 17th (its now 21st).

Can I recover my backup strategy or do I start again?

Any ideas as to why this has happened. Have I inadvertently deleted something?

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I would recommend you to perform the below operations:

1) Please delete the present backup task from within the program window.

2) Run the \Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\schedmgr.exe tool and issue the following command in its interface:

task zap

3) Delete the content of the following folder, if there any files are present: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImage\Scripts

4) Recreate the task and apply it to the same vault (you don't need to create a new one).

See if the issue remains.
