backup to tape

Thread needs solution

Hello!

Building up a lab enviroment, backup disk and backup to tape.

When I backup to tape I get this error:

-------------------- Error code: 3314 Module: 9 LineInfo: 9e5d09f7da87d0c Fields: Message: Scheduler has received a request from a user who does not have enough privileges.

Hello Mikael,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

There can be several reasons of the encountered issue:

1) Please make sure the user, under which you trying to run the task, is a member of the Administrators group:

  1. Click Start ->Run;
  2. Type in compmgmt.msc and hit Enter;
  3. In the Computer Management window click Local Users and Groups -> Users;
  4. Right-click the user under which you are trying to run the task and select Properties. Click the Member Of tab. The Administrators group should be in the Member of list;
  5. If the user account is not a member of the Administrators group, add the account to the group:

- On the Member Of tab, click Add;

- In the Select Groups window type in Administrators;

- Click Check Names;

- Click OK.

2) Make sure you are trying to execute the task manually under the same user account it was created;

3) Make sure the Acronis scheduling service is running under Local System account:

- Click Start -> Run;

- Type in services.msc and hit Enter;

- In the Services (Local) window right-click the Acronis Scheduler2 Service line;

- Select Properties;

-In the new window click the Log On tab;

- Under Log on as select Local System account;

- Click OK.

See if the issue remains.
